BT 21CN Information

BT are in the process of updating the country's telecoms infrastructure. They are, basically, replacing the existing copper wiring to optic fibre and changing from a range of exisiting analogue technologies to an IP based network. This changeover is expected to cause around half of digital communicators to cease functioning on the new network. Source.
